What's New at MyChargeBack?

Upcoming MyChargeBack Webinar

Upcoming MyChargeBack Webinar: Consumer Anxiety

No matter the details of your dispute, no matter where you live, virtually every consumer who contacts us at MyChargeBack has one thing in common: Anxiety. You suspect a merchant, brokerage or individual you dealt with was dishonest. You feel used. Cheated. Even helpless. We hear you.

For that reason MyChargeBack will be holding a live Zoom webinar in August to provide you with the opportunity to learn how to manage that anxiety and overcome it. Our guest will be Dr. Mara Kailin, a licensed American clinical psychologist and expert in dialectical behavioral therapy, a cognitive-behavioral approach whose main goals are to teach how to live in the moment, develop healthy ways to cope with stress, regulate emotions, and improve relationships with others.

In order to ask questions of Dr. Kailin, please submit them in advance to [email protected]. We will attempt to address all questions received, time permitting, on a first-come-first-served basis.

Pre-registration for this valuable webinar is required. There will be a limit of 100 participants. Registration details will be posted in next month’s What’s New at MyChargeBack newsletter.

New Online: Podcasts

MyChargeBack is pleased to unveil a new section on our website: Our podcast page. Listen in as our in-house experts provide their professional insight and analysis regarding major issues that cardholders, merchants and bank dispute departments deal with on a daily basis. Our podcasts are also your opportunity to get to know us a bit better.

MyChargeBack Case Studies

This month we uploaded not one, not two, but three case studies to our website. The first, from Spain, discusses how we were able to obtain a partial settlement for a client from a regulated broker. The second, from Austria, explains how we were able to secure wire recalls for payments made to a fraudulent investment program and still maybe able to assist in addressing related cryptocurrency transfers using our forensic tracing solutions. And the third is an unusually complicated wire recall case that spans three EU countries and Australia, which culminated with a full refund for our client.

Tip of the Month

Are Checks Dying?

Yes, checks are going the way of the dinosaurs. The process began in the Nordic countries. In Finland, domestic checks were declared extinct a quarter of a century ago. Denmark did away with them over four years ago. Norway and Sweden will be next since checks are rarely used there anyway and they are both expensive and inconvenient for those who try. In fact, checks have been on the way out for some time. MyChargeBack explains why.
